A great past-an heritage handed down from the past to the present and a challenge for the future...At Latsch there is a lot of history. The engravings on Mehir, that stone so high, date back to 5000 b.C. A few years later a manuscript was found on the Montani Stronghold of the Nibelunghi's song. The altar with shutters by Jörg Lederer is of the XV century. Strongholds, churches and frescos tell of about a great story around which tales are unravelled from the Romans all the way to the Knights, from artists of the Lombard school to those full of passion. And also some tales with regards to "Ötzi", the man from the glacie... Have them explain everything to you... during the guided tours.Or even the typical Tyrolese festivals where you can dance, sing or play the Tyrolese, or the traditional palace festival under the Renaissance arcades of the Goldrain castle (large picture above).
